About Hans Jakobi
For the past few months, Hans Jakobi has been giving people an opportunity to ask him questions through his "Ask Hans Jakobi" web-site.
Frankly, the number of questions coming through has been overwhelming
Most of the questions received were about specific real estate investing issues (many of which are addressed in Hans Jakobi's free property investing course).
But he also received a lot of questions about himself - people wanted to know more about his background and experiences as a real estate investor - So he thought it was time to share with you a little bit about his background here or you can find out more information about Hans Jakobi here.
Hans Jakobi's Background
Hans's first real estate investment was a $40,000 commercial property - a warehouse on Lavinia Street in Athol Park (Adelaide), which he bought shortly after starting my first job.
He leveraged against that property to buy another warehouse a few years later - but didn't get into residential real estate until age 26, when he bought a Sydney unit for $35,000.
In June 2007 Hans Jakobi sold this property for 315,000 which just goes to prove how well property can grow your wealth.
Today, Hans lives on a beautiful 335 acre estate in country New South Wales, right on the top of the Great Dividing Range. The land is also home to his own environmentally sustainable farm. Both of these were funded (over time) by my real estate investments.
Very early on in my career as a real estate investor, Hans Jakobi found he was passionate about sharing what he had learned with other people.
You see, real estate investing isn't difficult - but it does require the right skills, and the right mindset (two things Hans was happy to share with people).
That's what led him to becoming a wealth educator, and he has been passionately sharing his insights with others for over 29 years, showing people like you what he knows about living a rich and prosperous life.
To date, Jakobi has shared his insights with hundreds of thousands of people in Australia and worldwide - through his books, seminars, courses and web-sites - and he has come to be known as "Australia's Wealth Coach".
Although I do share "Hans Jakobi's specific real estate investing strategies", I feel the most important insights I have to share are about the idea that true wealth has little to do with money itself.
One of Han's favourite sayings is "Rich people are not rich because they have money. They have money because they are rich."
Values, attitudes, beliefs, health, lifestyle, balance, happiness - without all of these wealth (in the monetary sense) becomes harder to build, and next to impossible to truly enjoy.
